Burberry Spring 2015 Ad Campaign

Let's face it, we all want a handful of Burberry coats and jackets from every new season. They envelope the perfectly balanced vision of sexy and sophisticated.

Their cut, their fit, their prints, textures and colors always find a way to be not just innovative, but something that makes a bold statement when you wear it. And yet, there is something classic about the brand. When you see it, you know it's Burberry.

First things first, I am in love with the colors they have chosen for the spring campaign. The teals and violets are beautiful, especially on that texture of fabric. It still has the very expected cut of classic Burberry coats, which I love and hope to have some day in my wardrobe!

I think that this photo-shoot is sort of the other side of the coin, as they recently did a shoot with Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne. They are very big and prominent caucasian models, and here we have two big and prominent African-American models being shot together.

I really love the idea of the very established older, popular, world famous and experienced model standing side by side with fresh new faces that are just almost getting started with their really great careers.

Their skin and complexion looks flawless. It goes so well with the tone and palette of the shoot. It's a very healthy, glowing skin without much color going on. There is a lot of contouring and highlighting across the cheekbones, attention to their brows and bringing a little depth in their eyes, and then this really pale pink color [almost tilting a little toward purple] covering their lips to finish it off.

Overall I'm really liking this shoot, and it's style for Spring, in terms of colors and textures.
